The Cookie Studio

Hi, I’m Cheryl! About fifteen years ago, I started making cakes with my sister. What began as a fun way to spend time together quickly grew into something more. We created everything from small smash cakes to five-tier wedding cakes, and those years sparked a love for baking that never left me.

A few years later, while browsing Pinterest, I discovered decorated cookies — and I was instantly hooked. I started experimenting, learning, and creating my own designs. Before long, I was selling cookies at the Farmer’s Market in Woodstock, NB, baking in the evenings and on weekends while still working a full-time job.

But I always had a bigger dream — to open my own cookie shop.

And now, here I am.

Today, The Cookie Studio is where I get to bring that dream to life. Every cookie is handmade right here in Miramichi, whether it’s a custom-designed set for a special event or a batch of bakery-style favorites.

This business is built on passion, persistence, and a love for creating something meaningful for others.
